Clinical Guidelines: Summer Prevention Strategies To mitigate the risks associated with heat and gastrointestinal complications, the following clinical recommendations should be implemented:

Increase Blood Glucose Monitoring Frequency: Glycemic profiles can become highly unstable during summer.
